probably yeah but u shudnt ask u greedy sod its her money
just seperated? not divorced?

It may be possible that you could claim although my partners dad died and left him money when he was going through a divorce and his greedy wife was laughed at :)

If you won the lottery would you expect her to be entitled to it?

if u n ur wife split a year ago then why u going after her money. it was left to her so why not let her enjoy it
i don;t think an inheritance is classed as being the joint property of a married couple, it is not income, earned or unearned, it is the sole property of the person it was left to.
