Hi all, hope you can help. My fridge freezer is making a noise like running water - it only started this afternoon. The food in the freezer has not defrosted and it all seems fine otherwise but the noise is still going now and it's quite loud. It's 19 months old and the guarantee ran out in March this year (12 month guarantee). Does anyone know what could be wrong with it? Thanks.

It may be several things. If it's a combo fridge-freezer, it may be the defrosting system clearing. That would account for water sounds. If it's only a freezer unit, it may be a combination of the freon gas and moisture circulating through the coils. Occasionally mine makes a similar sound, but it's quiet and hardly noticable..and the freezer is going strong!

Be well
