My partner has just moved in to my matrimonial home but it is not working out as i have lived in this house with my husband for 34 years he paid �78000 share in the home but i want to give him his money back and the interest he would have got am i being fair

maid: A complex issue. To clarify please - he has 'just' moved into the home? Is that 'just' as within thirty days? Six months? Is his name now on the deed? Was his investment with the goal of making a profit? Did he sell his own home to invest in yours? (that actually may not matter, but I'd like to know).
Based upon what you've shared so far, I'm not certain that any advice you might receive could be accurate, failing not knowing additional details.
