We are told that 200 hundred houses per day will have to be built to house the 1000 immigrants a day that are entering this country.. Already are public services are under strain, yet still we continue to admit people with little or no job prospects. European workers are eligible for Child Benefits which they send home to their dependants. yet are pensioners are one of the worst paid in Europe.Inter-racial tensions are on the increase, when will our politicians realise that multi-culturism is fine in theory but alas does not work in practice. Is it time for this madness to end?

You know, here in Cnanda we are being swamped with mexican refugees coming from the states, they are claiming to be refugees because the u.s is cracking down on illegal aliens. It is so easy for them to come here and we are already taxed to death so we can support them. I feel for them but why should we pay the price??? Our city has high unemployment, they will only be cheap labour for employers who do not want to pay a decent wage. It leaves Canadians who by the way are not getting the same treatment out in the cold, literally.

Nothing better to do on a Monday morning than stare at a computer monitor.! What a sad life you must lead.( If you are house bound I apologise) Not being a computer nerd like yourself I am grateful for the explanation, I really did not know that. Spent an hour on the beach with the dog, then at 10am. played Badminton with the over 50s club.Came home midday, far better than arguing with idiots like you.Must go, off out with the dog now the sun is out!

I think that this is all media hype. They did the same when we first found out about Aids, created fear and loathing everywhere.
A lot of the people that do come here come to earn money and work hard. They do not take away the jobs of the British people but do the jobs that the British people are not prepared to do.
I would also suggest that you should try to imagine yourself in the same situation as they are in. Your family has nothing, in the depths of poverty, expensive health care etc, you have heard that, if you go to work in a particular country, you can earn lots of money and send some home to help your family to survive, you only have to go for a couple of years. Would you go?

Yes Williamc, so much fear & loathing that Aids is on the increase because of this generation ignoring the practice of safe sex. This is because with the advance in medical treatment there is is less fear of an early end!
No I do not blame people for wanting to further their life styles , I just wish those without jobs to come to would stay the other side of the channel. Why is it I ask myself they all want to come here?
And the Brits who go to live in France & Spain are on the whole retirees, with good incomes , unlike the Eastern European riff-raff who frequent our shores!

I think that economic migration should take second place in favour of people fleeing places like Darfur oe Zimbabwe for example. Can you believe that story about the chap who risked everything to get here, was sent back to Khartoum, imprisoned, beaten, managed to escape back here and was immediately put into a detention centre?
