Compared to other people in history, there is a wealth of documents to support the existence of Jesus, and His ministry on Earth, yet critics pour scorn on His very existence, but have no trouble believing in other figures for which there is only fractional evidence.
Is this a correct assertion that I have made, or am I somehow mistaken?
The scorn, that is, not the existence of Jesus.

Over 100 posts. I guess Jesus really does provoke and challenge our thoughts.
(O.K. O.K. I know that I crossed the finishing line with my own post, but you get the point.)
Theland, if life after death is not an attraction for Christians, I'd have to wonder why not? People may no longer look forward to eternity with their Father, but they certainly used to, for centuries. I repeat that the promise of eternal life is fundamental to Christianity; if Jesus had merely said 'be nice to each other on earth and that's it', he would have been no different from Confucius.
