The original vocal version of the song �When the Boat Comes in� is the Theme song from the TV series of the same name. It is sung by Alex Glasgow & was on this CD �The A to Z of British TV Themes Vol3� (it is now deleted)
I don't know where you could download it.

The latest version is played on the �penny Whistle� by Andy Findon. It music was arranged by Garry Bell of Jeff Wayne Music Group Ltd.
