i have looked at your posts and you are obviously very troubled. You really should consult a solicitor with experience of family law . My son has a child with a partner. They split just after my grandson was born. It was very acrimonious. My son had to go to court to get access to his son. It took months. Happily we get to see him every two weeks now and have been able to bond with him. His Mum has calmed down now, she was very bitter and vindictive. But she seems quite reasonable now. It hurts though, that we cannot see him more often, but we are grateful for what we get.
Find a solicitor who will give you the first half hour free, like my son did. He/She should be able to tell you exactly what you need to know.

i wouldn't even know where to start looking for solicitors you know, i did phone up c/a/b and they basically said there was nothing that the grandparents could do - but the situation has changed since that phonecall and now of course me and partner are feeling even more anxious and i'm trying to find out all i can and educate myself about as much as possible, before going to see a solicitor as i don't have the money to do that - the first half hour maybe free but after that i wouldn't be able to get the money to pay for more of their tme. i feel like i'm just stuck in a trap at the moment, do what they want or get bullied into doing it.
