At one time we had a proxy put on the computer to block Myspace.com We would now like to allow it. How do I cancel the proxy?

tools | Internet options | Connections | and then go for either LAN settings and tick the auto detect

or select the dial up connection(s) you use and tick auto detect.

if you want to reset or delete the proxy settings goto settings and connection , uncheck the use proxy, choose the direct connection or auto detect
