Probably in much the same way as it reacted when OJ was PROVEN innocent.
So never mind that the man is actually innocent at the minute? Most of the western worlds judicary systems are based on the fudemental belief that everyone accused of a crime is innocent until proven guilty. This stands until a case is brought to a court of law, presented by a prosecutor and a jury of peers finds someone guilty and the burden of proof must lie with the prosecutors to prove that guilt......Everyone's personal opinions on MJ matter not a jot (as does his past out of court settlement of previous accusations, which as I am sure his lawyers will be at great pains to point out in no way give creedence to any future claims, nor is it any basis of an admission of guilt) but we must wait to see if any case is presented for him to answer in a court of law.

P.S. I think he's as guilty as OJ was.

whatever the outcome i think the press will continue to vilify and hound him. and whatever the outcome i think he is a very foolish and naive man to have laid himself open to such allegations (even though he may be guilty of nothing more than generosity of spirit, which is often misunderstood by those who have none)
He could well be innocent, not many people are in a position to know for sure. However he has so much money he will no doubt be able to buy his way out of this, and any other sticky situation he finds himself in. It's that what makes me angry more than anything. One law for the poor and another for those who are so wealthy they appear more powerful than the law. IF he is found guilty, I have no doubt his sentence will be disproportionally light.Jackson has such a huge following world wide I don't think his fans will believe he is guilty no matter what the outcome.
With general indifference, I would think. Who cares about Michael Jackson nowadays anyway?
Lets be honest here, openly admitting to the fact that he has children staying over and sleeping in his bed with him is not exactly doing him any favours, nor will it do much to endear him to the public in general. A phrase with the words smoke and fire in it springs to mind here ! Would you let him near your children in private without you being present ? I know i wouldn't
How can he be PROVEN innocent or guilty. A court's verdict is by no means proof - which is why the similar fact rule exists in the developed world's jurisprudence. At the end of the day, the only ones who know and who'll ever truly know what happened are MJ and his accusors.
wen mj is proven innocent as he is the whole world will give it the he got off cause he is rich crap they always this case is all a ploy for money and a bad case of really bad media. mj is king of the world id trust him with my kids he is an ace entertainer and nothing but a big child he hasent got it in him to hurt a thging he is kind hearted he gives alot to ncharity but of course media dont cover that cause they only wanna know if its bad mj to walk free
When Michael is proven innocent in a court of law no doubt the press will find something else to hound him about. Stories about Michael (all negative, after all the positive ones wouldn't sell papers, would they?) make money for the media. Too much about this case doesn't add up and I for one believe 100% in his innocence. He is a sweet, kind, generous and loving man who deserves a fair trial both by the court and by the media. Unfortunately the media, I fear, will never be fair.
