I have a small indoor fig tree from Ikea and have noticed a lot of yellow leaves appearing, and not necessarily dropping off. Is it the time of year, or is the earth lacking in something ?? It is not overwatered or underwatered and on a natural light window sill with not much bright sun. Thanks.

Even evergreen trees replace their leaves regularly, they just don't all fall at the same time. My fig tree is also losing leaves but they will regrow. If the tree has been kept dry for a while then you water it it may suddenly drop leaves but they always grow back on a ficcus.
