Yesterday I saw a car with 5 numerals only as
its Registration. No letters were appended. The car
had no foreign identification plate. I'm puzzled.
Anyone suggest an explanation ?

I always thought that was the Isle of Man -may be wrong though.
It's a Guernsey Reg plate
could be isle of man, channel islands , i thught Jersey had about 5 numbers , but with a j , in front of the numbers.....
if u see a white number plate with about 2 letters and followed by three numbers, with a forlorn looking person, with thier thumb , in a manner of speaking, maybe u could give him or her a lft if its within your range, trade plater , perplexed and in need of a possible moral boost ......

Thank you, everyone. I guessed it might emanate
from one of our off-shore islands, but where...?
Guernsey seems to be the answer, since I knew of
the 'J' prefix for Jersey.
