Gym update...

I called them today and was told that they could see on the computer that I had paid the money I owed them but there was something flagging that now says I owe them �500!!! This is actually impossible and even the guy on the other end of the phone told me this was impossible... that would be 10mnths worth of membership and I only joined at the end of January! He told me no-one from Admin would be there to help me until Monday so I would have to wait but he did allow me to come down and use the gym over the weekend without any hassle. So I had a nice work out today at least! But now I am annoyed that I probably won't be able to get out of the 12month contract.. even though they told me the membership was cancelled... Grrrrrrrrrrrr

hiya slippers, very detailed and concise update there girly, why get out of the contract? It won't do you any harm to keep going to the gym anyway, make the most of it and you may enjoy it, that guy sounds quite pleasant too.

Dot... the gym is sh!t! I want to keep going to the gym but now they have told me I may need to rejoin and enter a new 12month contract even though I have 4-5months left to go... so there is noway I am paying the �100 joining fee again and entering a new contract. I might as well join the gym near my work, where you don't have to enter a contract and it's �15 cheaper a month.
