What is the worst accent in the UK? Some believe it to be either the Scouse or the Belfast accent but then others argue that that opinion comes from those straight out of a posh Southern English public school. Please Discuss

A Black Country accent - our electricians in my previous company had thick accents from the Black Country and seeing them tamper with electrics just scared you.
Nope I think a Bangor Co. Down accent beats them all
Birmingham. Or Norwich.
Sorry Birmingham, my dad's from Norwich - sorry dad and people from Norwich. I think there may be a few upset people on here!
Birmingham or Bristol - take your pick.
Estuary 'English'; I'm from Southend, and most people around here sound like they're in pain when they try to talk.
Brummie accent.
Without any reservation I have to say the 'Mockney' put on by young middle class southern English TV presenters.
I used to work for a very well known ticket booking agency selling to people all over the country, and the hardest to understand were Glaswegians, but I'd say Scousers and Brummies tie for the most irritating. Edinburgh was one of the nicest.
I think people like to hear other accents than their own. I used to think the Scots dialect was the sexiest going, now I live in Scotland it passes me by and this will take some believing from those who know better but I have been told on more than one occasion by Scots they could listen to my accent all day and wait for it - I speak with a Yorkshire tongue. I know the question asked for the worst accent in the UK but my least favourit accent - bar none is that dreadfully high pitched nasal New Yorker twang. Cheers my dears!
As a traveling saleman from London living in Birmigham, I find that each accent is funny at first but then you get used to it. Northern Ireland is one of the clearest accents around as with Liverpool it depends on what part. I think Essex girls are the worst-no what I mean
Geordie
Worst definitely Essex girls as portrayed by Footballers Wives. Funnily enough, I don't think it sounds too bad on fellas. Brummie accent makes people sound thick - sorry - and Scouse is horrid. Having now insulted everybody - once you get to know people you forget about their accents and they sound fine (except for Essex girls!) And I shouldn't pass judgement on accents having a mixture of south london and norfolk with a posh southern english telephone voice!
BERNARDO! *Smack*.

I actually love many of the thicker accents like Liverpudlian, Mancunian, Geordie, Bolton... ish... even Norwich... ian... and Cornish... onian. And definitely any of the Irish accents. Quite like posh accents too. But I'm sorry, Birmingham, I agree with Fakeplastic.
The dublin accent is worse than any accent except mabe the scouse!!
Whiny Birmingham.
I like the scouse accent (I am a londoner) Id also like to shag a geordie lass
