I have been a lifelong fan but, sadly no longer.

The storyline concerning Violet and the annoying puff (playing himself obviously) is too much to bear ( pun not intended).

All his female work mates whooping with joy for him after he somehow impregnated Violet and then saying he has found a bloke, Yuk Yuk Yuk .

I am sick of tired of it. I thought Corrie would keep away from issues that promoting homosexuality. They revell in it.

If you wish to be offesnive - do try to spell your insult correctly.

Coronation Street does not 'promote' homosexuality - it simply reflects that the concept exists in a free thinking liberal society.

Your desert island beckons ... or alternatively, I believe Afghanistan is nice this time of year ..

btw andy just what is "offesnive"?
Well, this is quite a posting isn't it?
Any thoughts on the content anyone?
Mmmmm homophobic
Well actually I rather like the Violet/Sean story and I have faith that he'll be a smashing father. I don't know what your objection is to him, I think he's a breath of fresh air. There isn't anyone in the Street that I really dislike - but i'd LOVE an opportunity to smack David Platt in the mouth; if for no other reason than to wipe that inane grin off his smug little chops!
You've obviously forgotten the Todd storyline, Hayley too.

You seem to think it is fine for the extra-marital affairs to be shown, the murders, women fighting in the street...

It is a drama, it is not essential that you view it. Stick with playschool and jackanory.
I have to agree about David Platt. I too would love to smack him - what a great degree of acting is needed to be so obnoxious - or is it???
I love Sean. The storylines are funny as well as sensitive. I loved the episode where Sean and Sonny were in the bedroom at the time of the bomb scare and Sonny didn't know how to get out without being seen and sean said "Use the back entrance !!"
Classic !!
