We're coming to Torquay this weekend for a posh 'do' on Friday night. On Saturday we're planning to do something in the morning, then watch the England game somewhere before heading home (unless the hangovers are too bad!). What's worth doing for a couple of hours in the morning? And where's good to watch the football, not too packed as I want to see the screen but that will definitely be showing it? In case it makes a difference, we're a couple in our late 20s, no kids. Thanks

Hi, grew up in Torquay, so I should know some good places. Good things to do in the morning include the Minature Village in Babbacombe - sounds childish but its really good! Or you could drive a bit further down the coast and check out Dartmouth and Kingswear. Also Paignton Zoo's usually a good bet. As for pubs I would try somewhere out of the town centre - as they can get get crowded. Unfortunlty couldn't give you any names as its been a couple of years since I lived there. Hope you have a nice time!!
