HI,

I have just returned from a work induction/training course at the company's head office. I have just started a new job and was posted away for a week. Very insightful, and the people were very helpful and very friendly - especially one guy. We hit it off from the beginning, and I instantly fancied him, but he is 22 and I am 38....he asked my age, and he didnt beleive I was as old as I am.....but I think there was a mutual attraction there, but alas I had to return home today and we said our goodbyes yesterday, would it be worth me pursuing this or a waste of time as I am so much older than he is ? He mentioned coming to visit where I lived if that was ok - I agreed....now I know quite a bit about body language - he wanted to look at my watch which he liked, so I took it off and he held it for ages - that means something doesnt it ? When he said bye to me yesterday, he held my hand for a while ... perhaps I am reading too much into it ?

Yes...he gave it back....lol
mmm im intrigued...this sounds good. first lesson...never tell your age..no need. im 47 and after flirting with a 27 year old for months, he finally asked and i didnt reveal but he guessed 37!! fine with me!! i say go for it...who cares about age...i can tell you right now that he wont...and the age he is...you are a peach!!!!
roughquest, i have a friend of nearly 38 who is "seeing" i use the term loosley, a bloke of 19!! i find it a bit weird though as she has a son who is very nearly 16.Shes having the time of her life after being stuck with a complete n*b for the last 18years so although, i don't wanna hear the details, shes not harming anyone. Go for it i say, if you'e both single and just enjoy it whilst it lasts!

Many young men are attracted to older women and it's a good thing because they can learn a great deal about the treatment of women and female gratification in particular from someone with life experience and the confidence to express their likes and dislikes.

You could be the best thing that ever happens to him in his future relationships with women, so enjoy it for what is and take the plunge, but don't expect a long term committment.

'he held my hand for a while' ? how much time had you spent just with small-talk ? sounds like an exagerration or subconscious fantasy, that would never happen, that would clearly 'freak' a woman out if a fellah asked you to remove an item of jewellery so that he could fondle it for half-an-hr. jesus, stop blabbing on!
