dirty dishwasher

my 14month old dishwasher is not cleaning properly,i have cleaned the filter ect. but to no avail,anyone any ideas before i call the engineer out?

have a look at the bottom of the cutlery holder when mine stopped cleaning properly it was beccauce there was a hole in cutlery basket and things were dropping down and stopping the claeaning arm rotating, its worth a look :-)

Just a daft question, but are you making sure it's topped up with salt & rinse-aid? (I'm probably stating the obvious, if so, sorry!) You could also try filling the detergent dispenser with vinegar & the running it on a normal wash (empty) as dishwashers need a clean every now & then, as well.

buy one of those dihwash cleaners that they sell in your local supermarket and always use salt even i these new products say you dont have to.

Dee Sa - don't waste your money on dishwaser cleaners, they're expensive & vinegar does the job just as well.

Remove the rotating arms as well and make sure that the jets aren't blocked with greasy gunge.
