Strange? Yes. Anyone know this song, sung by a woman. She's talking about how she notices things that are all around her, like the this woman pulling on her stalkings, and the salesman and a customer greeting each other. Vague, yes. The song follows a beat like the doop du du dut... thing I have at the top. And the woman sings this beat just how it looks up above. Say it out loud and you might know! From the 90s, I think. Thanks! Wanna know artist, song title, something!

Indeed it is, in particular the version by DNA. They loop Suzanne's vocal for the do-do-do part.

~ Just an interesting bit of trivia...The developer of MP3 technology,(who's name escapes me at the moment) mentioned in an interview on "The Screensavers" that he used Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega as his sound baseline.
