Sometimes I cannot log off. When I try to log off nothing happens it just sits there doing nothing. I keep trying and trying with no joy. In the end I have to reboot. Anybody got any ideas. In simple terms please I am just a novice at PC's. It doesn't do this all of the time, just occasionally.
Thankyou in advance for any replies.

Wix I am not getting any message box at all. I click on Log off but the screen just does nothing. I have clicked on Log off numerous times.
meglet I run antivirus scan every day so I don't think it is that.
As i said before it doesn't do it every time I log off, only occasionally.
It sounds as if your user profile isn't unloading...without a message it's difficult to find out exactly what the problem is.

MS have an app that forces resources that are open to close...worth a try.

Have a read about it anyway.
