Years ago, an instrumental version of the Smith's How Soon Is Now was used to advertise Pepe Jeans. I loved the track until I heard the proper version, with Morrissey whining all over it - Sorry Moz lovers, but I think his voice turns glorious pop into 'washing up water'. Is the instrumental version available anywhere?

i remember this advert playing in cinemas. maybe it was just a creative edit, using sections of the song that are just instrumental and looping it over.
I am pretty sure it's "hippy chick" by Soho. It annoyed most Smithjs fans ;-)

binaryjim - No, the Pepe advert was years before Hippy Chick came out. It was definitely the Smiths version, rather than just the intro as on the Soho version. Thanks though! :-)
