There was a great thread a while ago about earliest memories. I mentioned it to my daughter and she asked my granddaughter who is almost 4 if she could remember being born. My granddaughter said 'yes of course' then gave her birth experience.....

'I was in my mummys tummy with lots of water then I saw a bright light and me and the water slid out. Then I saw a man and someone waved a flag then a rocket shot up to the moon and all fireworks came'

Oh bless, if only it was that easy rofl

Have you ever asked your little uns if they remember being born? If so what did they say?

pmsl dotty, bet I would get more or less the same answer from abs or a 'shurrup im on a tricky bit on my game' lol

yeah i reckon it would be a horrible memory too ratter lol
grrr, i did reply as B00 to test it, still obviously banned!

Anyways, as I said as B00- i'm never going to ask Mini Boo, i'd rather not know!
My two are very curious as to the whole how do babies get in mummy's tummy and how do they get out again issue.
A few months ago they asked if it was like the story of the wolf and the seven little kids, did i just get my tummy cut open, babies pulled out and sewn back up again? I had a c-section so, well, yes.
One then asked how I knew if they were boys or girls, to which the other replied silly, she had to wait for our hair to grow and if it stayed short that would mean we're boys and if it grows long we must be girls.'
I'd like to think I can remember being born but I reckon it's just because I had a traumatic birth and my mum has reminded me of it a lot. I do vividly remember breaking my leg when I was 2 and slidging on a tin dinner tray either the winter before or after then.
My mothers friend is totally unreligious (if thats a word?!).
She never speaks of God or religion as she just doesnt believe.
But my mum asked this friend's daughter ,who is three, a few weeks ago if she rememberd what it was like to be a tiny baby, to which she replied
" I remember before that, when I lived in Gods pocket and it was nice and warm!"

Everyone just turned to look at her as we all wondered where she could have got that idea from ! She doesnt attend any play groups, and all of her relatives are not religious either, weird.

My little one said the othr day, you know how babies are born?

I said how?

they said well, you get an egg from the mummy and a seed from the daddy, they get together and somehow they end up in the mummies tummy - it's just a miricle'

arh...

Can you remember being born, - 'no... don't be silly i was a baby'..

but i can remember going to nursery - and the castle with my friend...
my child has never been to a castle with the friend. but they do tell the same story over and over - so it must be a dream they remember.

bless them all.
