How would you attract your soul mate? Would you leave it to fate, pray, meditate? I for one believe that my soulmate is out there and i would rather attract it thatn leave fate to interviene. How about you?
This might be because I'm already married to mine etc, but I really think you should have the philosophy of "it'll happen when it happens"
I genuinely think it's a massive waste of your life to be continually looking and doing what you can to find such a partner. It might not happen for years and think of all that you could with your life within those years?
Dot, it is basicly reffering to the true match of you.
B00, i would agree partly with you. You can wait for it to happen, or you can attract it in some of the ways mentioned above.
I walked into a new place of work, he was sat having a fag out of the window, he made some derogatory remark about graduates, I thought you arrogant b**tard.
My soulmate and me had found each other.
8 glorious years later, still married, still not what each other is thinking.
Odd meeting but he is the one.
Oh, until Brad and Angelina split up and then I'll see
yeah, but I see it as a total waste to do whatever you can to attract a mate. Especially if this is all you do in your spare time, before you know it, you'll look desperate and any self-respecting girl/lad will leggit.
Oh B00, there is alot more to me than simply meditation.
I'm not an old man who sits up on top of a mountain giving the same piece of advice "look inside yourself".
You cant attract them it just has to happen. Our first conversation was on the topic of Tramps tomatoes and whether we wanted kids!!! That was all within 2 hours of meeting.
I admit crossy, i'm not your biggest fan, but i wasn't being sarcastic on any of my reples on this post. For once i'm sorry if they came across that way.
Don't rely on the old 'soul mate' adage crossroads, after all people re-marry after their partners have died and are just as happy with thier new love!
Logically speaking, if we only had one soul mate per person, how could we rely on the fact that they even lived in this country? No use if your one true 'soul mate' lives in a mud hut in Africa!!
It's a misnoma .. it is just a romantic notion that falls short of reality. We chose our partners through trial and error and chance plays only a tiny part. There is alot more to loving and especially living with a person ,than fate.
