Hi,

I have a DVD camcorder and need to know how I can convert to recordings I make into an MPEG file that I can use in Windows Movie Maker.

I downloaded a trial version of DVD to MPEG yesterday but the quality wasn't great and although it created the MPEG on my desktop, when I tried to use the clip in Windows Movie Maker it said something about missing "codec".

Please help!!

Try the (free) DVD to mp4 video converter from www.videora.com. Not 100% sure whether Windows Movie Maker supports mp4 files, but it's free and it can't hurt to try. I use it to convet .VOB files to mp4. Nice and easy to use.
