I have a hollow plaque of a young lady's head,looks like art deaco,with the marksF.X. 62/3 and a crown with the letters W and G[or maybe C]over each other.the marks are stamped into the surface of the piece.Could anyone help please to identify this?

WG might mean white granite.

Sounds like the mark for Goebel. WG over each other for William Goebel. Search for Hummel marks on google and it should give you a site or 2 with which to compare your mark.

thanks RMVintage.You are right,I already solved the puzzle by looking at similar items and looking at Hummel/Goebel ''marks''.It looks like its circa 1935 and is worth a ''bit''.Its in perfect condition.
