Have recently installed a new shower and reading the cleaning instructions for the glass, it states that microfibre cloths should not be used. Does anyone know why as I thought these would be ideal as they are absorbant and soft?

I use microfibre clothes on absolutely everything. I cant see why you couldn't use them on a shower screen.
You'll find all sorts of recommendations for microfibre cloths, including many that say they're simply ideal for cleaning shower cubicle doors!
Couldn't you contact the manufacturer and ask for the reason behind their advice? (And let us know the answer?).
I think its cos the fibre is made up of hundreds of wee micro dots and it cleans really thoroughly but doesnt scratch. (Im not a techy person just read it on a packet ages ago) lol
Ah, heres the answer, better than mine lol
