Emmerdale - Terry's Dad's APPALLING acting!!!!

AAAAAAARRRGHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Whenever I turn Emmerdale on these days and Terry's Dad is on, I have to turn it off. Seriously, have you ever seen a worse actor?! He couldn't even make it to Hollyoaks!!! He is so wooden, he only ever talks in the same monotone voice with the same aggression. I cannot STAND him!!!!!!!!!!
PLEEAASE tell me I am not alone. My boyfriend couldn't give a sh!t and I am getting more and more angry!!!!!

Everything about Emmerdale is so ridiculous at the moment, it makes me want to switch the television off! I know it is not real life, but surely it should resemble SOMETHING like real life. If people really did live with, work with, drink with, eat with, sleep with, rob and murder the same small group of people, they would go stir crazy!
Nobody commutes to work. Nobody has a job outside of the village. Nobody has any life whatsoever outside of the village. Viv's post office would have been shut down ages ago - one customer every few days aint gonna keep it open.
The pub frequently has more bar staff than customers.
After just a few months at the garage, schoolgirl mum Debbie appears to be a fully fledged business ****** turned jewel thief.
They have got a former topless model trying to act, and making an appalling job of it. (With all the unemployed actors there is, I wonder why they bring in people like Linda Lusardi, who can't act?)
In my opinion, the most ridiculous story of all must be one of the King brothers sleeping with the police woman. How likely is that?
The ridiculous stories go on and on ................... I'm glad I don't watch it! (I can't avoid it though, as the missus does, but even she is saying it is rubbish).
We know it's only make-believe, but surely the writers can come up with better than this. What do other ABers think?
