trying to locate button battery for my camera. I know that the original buttons were discontinued and that a company took up production of them with an adaptor ring attached so the that they would not slide about the battery compartment.

My local supplier has retired and the local Jessops has never seen one, let alone ever hearing about one. I showed them a sample to no avail.

Fife area would be ideal.

Long shot ... have you trie maplins ... they have a huge selection of equivalents ....

the original battery was as follows:

Power source: 1.35V mercury battery (Eveready (or UCAR) EPX625, Mallory PX625 or equivalent). 1.

They ceased to be manufactured and some firm started to produce a button battery with a collar. I do not have the name or number, but have a plain sample.

Thanks for the websites but not quite the battery I need.
