problems downloading itunes

i got s new ipod nano and im trying to download itunes onto my computer. everytime i click the steup it starts setting up and then it says something about quicktime. but i have quicktime on my pc. ive tried unistalling my old quciktime and downloads a new version but that hsent worked. really need help!

Did it cross your mind that if you told us exactly what the "something" was, it would make it easier to help you?

The latest version of iTunes downloads with Quicktime included in the download. Makes no sense to say you already have it.- You must install QT with iTunes to make iTunes fully functional......comes as a single file install anyway -and should just overwrite your older version.
