Of course.

Major airline operators run scheduled timetables whereby flights will (in theory at least) leave at certain time, on a certain day each week and will fly whether the plane is full or not. Unscheduled flights are ones where a tour operator such as Thomson, Cosmos etc book a plane to fly to a certain destination to carry passengers booked on their package holidays. These are usually ad hoc and depend on the bookings and capacity usage, and are therefore not scheduled for regular trips.
This should be in travel.
Non scheduled flightsare usually known as charter flights
If you think of it like a bus it may help. Service buses are like scheduled flights. They run at specific times on specific routes, and (in theory) wil run regardless of demand. You just buy a ticket from the airline and tunr up at the airport.
Charter bus trips are arranged by tour operators or hired by other bodies such as clubs or social clubs, who book them for a "one off" trip, or even regular journeys (eg school buses). You can't just buy a ticket or get on at the bus stop. You have to book your seat though the people who chartered the bus.
Scheduled Flights Are Regulary Airline Flights And They Fly Daily. Non Scheduled Flights Are General Aviation And Military.
