vauxhall frontera car alarm problem

Hi there,
i have a vauxhall frontera on a w plate and just recently the car alarm goes off without any reason all the windows are shut and doors are closed. even when i reset the alarm it still goes off the only way to keep it quiet it to leave the car unlocked which i would prefer not. Is there a way of disconnecting the alarm so i can lock the vehicle

have you checked the switch under the bonnet?

have you checked the bonnet switch? these can cause the problem that you are describing.
