What is the best offer on phone lines? I am moving and will be on quite a small income, so need the best deal on phone line i.e free evening and weekend calls. Also need advice on cheapest electric company. Much appreciated.

3g for�15 a months, lots of minutes and texts, hard to beat.you get a recon phone that you can carry around.
as for the home i went back on the net with virgin(ntl) with their 3 for �30 offer. on the day of fitting the only connection not completed was the net, i needed a ethernet connection, not the end of the world but the fitters never told me, it was friends who diagnosed this and sorted it for me.the service has been out of action 6 days out of the thirty since fitting
the 3 for �30 ends up on your bill as net �18.50 ,tv �11. and phone �0.50 i was told the calls are free at weekends but the first itemised bill had �10 worth of call charges, mostly to virgin (6p a min )and the technical helpline (25p a min) to ask how or why the service was not working
i would not recommend virgin but like all people who need your custom they promise the best of services but the reality falls way short of this and this is even worse with the utilities who incedentally will double your phone bill easily
avoid scottish elec they make virgin media look good
