I am sure I have seen this in an earlier post but cant find it now I need it. Winter drifts. Is it snows or snowy? I feel snows would fit better. Do others agree? Thanks

drifts is a noun as is snows. Snowy is an adjective and if that's the answer they want it's a bad clue.
