i think that you are probably over-reacting girly, though I have to say that the particular aber who "answered" your question seems to get peoples backs up from time to time(my own included) I don't think that it is meant, I do believe that they are trying to be helpful, they just have a funny (strange) manner. Actually reminds me of my sons Primary teacher - I want to strangle her on a regular basis, but she means well! ;0)
