got a vauxall corsa easy tronic and recently the gears won't change when i'm driving it, have you any idea what the problem is and how much it would cost to repair

Common problem on the Corsa. Replacing the gear linkage will usually solve the problem.

when the car is in auto mode it doesn't change gear and won't go into manual mode

a common fault with these gearboxes is the vehicle voltage not up to maximum. ie, a dodgy battery or connection, or the alternator not charging at full power. get your electrics checked first!

thxs for ur help but in the end it was the wheel speed sensor that wasn't working.
Cost me �88 for diagnostics test, �35 for the part and �37.50 for labour, what a rip off. Anyway thxs again.
