Yeah i felt very uncomftable at work (i work in a office at a desk) I told my manager straight away tho - and now i no how to correct my chair & also when on my dinner/break i find doing little walks help, I had bloated ness at the very start of my pregnancy - so cant really help u there, make sure u sip water - best thing to do is tell someone like ur manager so they can keep a look out for u - im now 29 weeks and my babys movements, kicks, wiggles, hiccups lol make me feel tired!!! So id love to say it gets easy haha im joking - everyone is different - take it easy!! And tell someone!!!!

Love Sam & bump x x x
sounds like braxton hicks contractions

What can I do if my Braxton Hicks contractions are making me uncomfortable?
If you're within a few weeks of your due date, try these measures:

Change your activity or position. Sometimes walking provides relief, and other times resting eases your contractions. (Real labor contractions, on the other hand, will persist and progress regardless of what you do.)

Take a warm bath to help your body relax.

Try drinking a couple glasses of water, since these contractions can sometimes be brought on by dehydration.

Try relaxation exercises or slow, deep breathing. This won't stop the Braxton Hicks contractions, but it may help you cope with the discomfort. (Use this opportunity to practice some of the pain-management strategies you learned in your childbirth preparation class.)
Ive been getting like that too.......i had braxton hicks all day the other day and it really frightened me cos i thought i wasnt supposed to get them til about 35 weeks? And i felt dizzy in a meeting and i had to leave and i cried!! What a sap. I founf that lots of sleep seems to help and revitalise you. My monkey likes to punch me in the bladder and kick me in the ribs! (29 weeks 2 days)

Thank you all so much x just starting to experience the lying in awkward positions stage, always to the right and can always feel it lay on that side, think its a foot or an elbow that sticks out n all! xx aw its niice but uncomfortable! ;-) x thanks again x 22weeks and 2 days xx
don't mean to scare anybody, but 22 weeks is quite early for braxton hicks. My cousin had similar feelings to you around the 21/22 weeks stage and she was actually in a false labour. She ended up in hospital to have the labour stopped. She did go on to have a healthy little boy - but maybe as well to get it checked out.

Thank you for your advice, the pains have actually calmed now tho but still feel uncomfortable at my desk!!! mayb im just allergic to work ;-) xx
Hi Loza,

As you may remember I am also 22 weeks pregnant ( I think we found out within days of each other and were both straight on here to share the news)

I don't feel the same as you, but I do have little bouts of feeling quite faint , which I put down to all the extra blood pumping round my body. I am also feeling quite a bit of stitch like pain in my very low abdomen when I am walking sometimes. I think it is just the muscles working differently to support the growing bump.

Could this me the same thing you are feeling.
i had that too......its the ligament stretching.....sometimes it was really quite painful aswell
