Does anybody know where I can buy this excellent chilli sauce ? (Probably in the London area)

It is very similar to a product once made by Kitchen Magic and I wonder if it is the same relaunched. The company is in the Stanmore/Harrow area. I found some in Patel Brothers in Tooting and bought their whole stock but am down to 4 jars.

It is supremely hot and quite the best chilli sauce I have ever had. I've been back to Patels a few times but they don't stock it anymore. I've looked in virtually every Asian grocers in my area (Croydon) - and there are hundreds - but cannot find it. I ask shopkeepers if they can get it, but they usually just shrug and try to sell me something different.

Have you seen it anywhere ? Thanks.

I'm not in your part of the world Mr Whiffey, but I do have the address of the Pickle & Spice Co. Ltd so you could contact them direct to find out where to buy a whole raft of these sauces:-

Treviot House, 186/192 High Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1LR (no phone number though).

Kitchen Magic Hot Pepper Sauce can be purchased on line from P & B Foods of Bradford (Tel 01274 660118):-

Thanks folks, I have searched online, but these people seem to flit between PO boxes and batches. The particular jar I photographed is one of a batch which, if I could find it, I would buy the whole lot, it is utterly mind-blowing. It's not a chilli extract, it's not really a sauce, but it is a wonderful mush of scotch bonnets, no chewy bits of skin.

No phone number, no web address, so ultimately I may have to write to them. 4 jars should see me through to about November, it really is that hot, and to be treated carefully if you need to be up and about the next morning.

Thanks everyone, I have managed via the BBC food boards to track down the company (a nice lady who makes it all by herself !). She is delighted to supply me direct if I give her a call in advance and drive over to collect. She needs a couple of days warning because she doesn't keep a lot of stock, and will go to the market, buy the scotch bonnets, and make me a batch fresh. I'll have 10 jars please !!

It has also been suggested that I have a go at making my own, scotch bonnets being thin skinned are ideal for making into sauces, so I will be simmering a saucepan of them over the bank holiday. Ah the joy of chilli !
What a lovely lady, Whiffey, how nice of her to do that. If you do decide to have a go at making the sauce yourself, please post the recipe and methodology - I suspect a few peeps on here would be most interested! Oh, btw, be very very careful if you roast or grill the chillies to remove the skin .... open all your windows ..... the fumes are quite deadly... hehe
