27- Proposer
5dn unbounded
Could be Proposes
Unbounded
Proposes
Crests ...I think that white horses are the crests of waves
Question Author
5D Deffo going to go with Unbounded.

27A Proposer/Proposed makes sense to me from that clue.

23D Crests also seems good BUT would not link with Proposer/Proposed...... So anything else wlecomed on that one
Does crests link with proposeS ?
Suggests is present tense ..proposed ..past tense and proposer a noun
5d unbounded ?

23d choppy ?

not sure of either though!
According to Chambers a "white horse" is a white topped wave ..the tops of waves are called crests ...this would tie in with "descriptive of the sea".
Question Author
Crests makes total sense to me...but it doesnt fit if Proposer/Proposes is correct, as I believe it to be.

Choppy might fit but, again, it will give 'grief' with another linkage.....

Will revert on this if I stay stuck!

Thank you for all your help.
