My contract is about to be changed at work (different hours, different days). Does anyone know how much notice they are supposed to give me before it starts?

Depends whether anything is written down by the company to tell you, in either a company handbook, policies or in letters written to you. If not, then one week of notice for each year of employment completed.
If there is likely to be a reduction in salary then there needs to be 90 days notice. Take advice from CAB or ACAS before you agree to anything.
