Alright B00, you've sussed me out.
I did it because of the editor not welcoming my suggestion about icons.
So now the recent posts box will be italic in B&S forever!!!

when crossy did that post he put it in italics, except at the end of it, he didn't "close" it right (ie, he didn't do the full ) therefore subsequent posts all "thought" they still had to be in italics.

I've no idea why it made the Recent Posts column change as well though.

Did that make sense?

Har, if you are wondering why the recent post box is still italic, its because the italic has not been closed off in the recent post box, as it is plain text as well.
And also, putting a closed off italic symbol at the end of a question title in B&S should sort this out.
