Fiesta Mk 4 door trim removal

Any help on how to remove window winder on Mk 4 Fiesta 1996 please? No spring clip inside, so I reckon it must be pull off plastic cap and undo a screw, but I cannot get cap off....

I've broken blade on one screwdriver trying to prise central plastic bit out, drilled hole in centre hoping to find screw head underneath, but no joy with either... Reason is to repair door catch, where it works from inside car, but outside handle is floppy like disconnected. Is there an easier way to fix lock without removing trim please?

Close window, noting position of winder handle.
Slide a strip of cloth between door trim and winder.
Pull cloth to one side (this hooks and releases the clip).
remove winder handle.

Thanks, first and quick answer spot on.

I was so excited I took first cloth I could find...the tea towel. If only you had said there was black grease behind winder.

And help, where did the clip go?
