I have an 11month old kitten who we have just introduced to our new 8 week old kitten, the problem is that the 11 month old kitten is terrified of the 8 week old and so far all she has done is run and hide. What can I do?

I have an older cat - 3 years and a kitten, the older cat used to hide to get away from the pesky little one. I am sure the older one will come out when he is ready to face the little one. It takes them time to get used to another one in the house. Mine still goes and hides because the little one just wants to jump on him and play all day and all NIGHT!!! Then one day you will find them curled up together asleep on the bed. Don't worry they will both be fine. If the big one didn't like the little one, he would have let you know by now!
Try and make them be together more or sit on the sofa and hold both of them by eachother.
