Does anyone know where I can get hold of palm oil - needed in dairy free recipes

Sorry if I sound like an idiot but surely sunflower, olive and groundnut oils etc are dairy free.
isn't palm oil bad for you ? like for arteries or something? but i think you can get it from african and carribean shops and market stalls, do you live in or near a big city? that might be more difficult if you don't.
Have you tried Health Food stores?
You can get palm oil from Asda stores now. It is relatively cheap at around 98p a large size jar! It is high in saturated fat, but a little is fine.
