my pc doesnt register disks any more

i copy my music onto blank discs to make my own compilations!! i have never had a problem but until now it wont let me i have tried 49 NEW blank cd-r discs same as i always use with no luck it says insert a blank disc .... i have restarted my computer and it still didnt work so i put in a new shop bought cd to rip from but doesnt register !!!! any help would be great

try another burning prog if that's no good could be cd burner not working and may need replacing

u could try a cd lens cleaning disc

i tried lens cleaning disc no joy!! i tried uninstalling the drive and rebootin it no joy!!!
i even got a patch with 99% success rate with no joy, but!!!! it allows me to watch dvd's (i think its because they r slightly thicker??!!
