What does it matter if the price of meat is going up, we're all going to die anyway, so it won't matter!
Go back to sleep kp. You obviously need more rest.

Yes I have heard about it , hope it isn't widespread this time.

Foot + Mouth does NOT affect humans
Thank goodness johnlambert , I can put my shoes back on now can I if my feet are ok ? :-)
Foot and mouth may not affect us but mad cow disease surely does! :o)
I've been a mad cow for years !
I don't understand why some of these answers are so flippant, I know the farmer who has just watched his livelihood slaughtered, indeed we live close enough to have heard the shots, the poor man is distraught, it's not a time to make jokes or flippant remarks!
Oh by the way we are not all going to die from foot and mouth disease, man can contract it in very rare cases, the last known case was in the 1960's, meat and milk will go up in price, and there may also be a shortage of some for a while.

Possibly something to do with the appalling faux "street" vernacular in which the question was couched and the stupidity of most of the OP's questions so far.
