I am thinking of putting a sum of money into one of their One Year Bonds, haven't heard of them before, is it a reputable company??

It's been going since 1964 and is reputable as any other bank.

It is regulated by the FSA so is perfectly legitimate. I wouldn't hesitate to bank with them.

Check out their home pages to reassure yourself, one of the most serious men I know has just retired from there having been there donkeys years.
