Whenenver we have a BBQ we usually finish with icecream. Does anyone have any suggestions for a dessert that can actually be cooked on the BBQ? Many thanks.

What a brilliant but simple idea...why couldn't I have thought of that!
Many thanks. xx
You can also slit them down the length of the banana and insert chocolate buttons. Can be wraped in foil if necessary and then barbequed. Yum!

Wrap some pineapple rings individually in foil with brown sugar or syrup on them.

Don't forget to toast some large marshmallows.
I wonder if you could do baked apples on a BBQ ? Core the apples, fill the core with a mixture of dried fruit and possibly a little rum, whisky or sherry (or whatever), wrap in foil and bake on the dying embers.....

Sorted!
Many thanks folks. xx
Marshmallow on the end of a wooden skewer - make sure you soak the skewers first. Or make kebabs of pineapple slices and marshmallows.
spudqueen I was going to suggest fruit and marshmallow kebabs too :) You could use mango, papaya, apple, nectarine, orange etc. yummy!
Following on from theonlyone........rustle up some pancakes and put a cooked banana in the center of one, a couple of dollops of Greek yogurt and a drizzle of honey. Roll into a sausage.........yummy.
Mrs. Overall - Peaches cut in half and started cut side down so it shows the grill marks and also pineapple slices done right on the grill so it has grill marks on both sides - after the first turn, either can be sprinkled with a little bit of brown sugar or a drizzle of honey.

Following on from "masterchefs" answer above, i get a fresh pineapple...cored and skinned and cut it lengthways into 1" x 1" sections. I then thread them onto a skewer, sprinkle with soft brown sugar (i sometimes add some chilli flakes to the sugar too) and barbeque until the sugar has caramalised.

Serve with a chocolate dip

Once again, many thanks to all you good people. I will be trying out all of your suggestions! xx
I like to do bananas but with Reeses Pieces (peanutbutter cups) inside. Mmmmmm.

also, Jelly cubes are great on skewers. It might sound nasty, but we used to have them at Guide Camp. The jelly goes all gooey and runny. just do them as you wouls marshmallows on a stick.
Bananas, slit the skins pour in dark rum or Tia Maria serve with ice cream
