Is there a keyboard shortcut for ticking boxes, i.e save cookie box?

tab to move round the boxes then use the " " key to tick them.....
(thats the good old space key - not very intuitive ..)

THANK YOU! I knew there had to be something, it'll save me faffing about with the touchpad, it keeps doing strange things, it drives me nuts.
