I know this has been suggested elsewhere, but you seem to be on a role replying to suggestions at the minute, AB Editor.

1) So what would be the chances of having a "Keep Me Posted" button? You know how the author of a thread gets e-mail notification of a reply? I'd like that as an option on ALL threads, even if I am not the author.

2) I'd also like two little numbers after each question title (on the overview pages) telling me how many posts there have been and how many have not yet been read by me (since I last logged in). So for instance it would say:
What's the best food for ducks? 2/12
I'd like to know if bread is bad for wild ducks.
And the number would mean there have been 12 posts of which 2 have not been read by me.

3) I can't remember my third idea, but it was great and would like to see it implemented.

Oh oh, I know I know - and be honest - what are the chances of an "edit" facility for the author? Or at the very least an (optional?) "Preview" page. Useful for checking spelling mistakes like those idiots who can't tell the difference between "role" and "roll".
*GAB* Indie! But what about your fourth idea? I think that was the best.
Question Author
*GAB* Brawburd! The fourth idea would never work and AB Editor (*No GAB*) would never have enough naked women and/or leopards to spare.

Now stop it, else s/he won't think this is a serious post and will conveniently ignore it.
What does "GAB" mean???????

Does it mean "Great, Amazing, Brilliant"? Or does it mean "Gasp and Blast"?
Perfect, IndieSinger, I like all of these ideas!

Now that the boys and girls in the R&D laboratories have got the recent round of site changes out of the way, I'm sure they are dieing to get stuck into some more.

Seriously, these are interesting ideas, and it is good to see support for them from other users.

Like those ideas - once they're off the first page, I tend to forget which questions I've contributed to. I'm not sure that we should be able to edit our answers at any time, as it's a bit open to abuse, but the ability to preview and edit before first posting an answer would be great.
The option to edit answers after posting them wouldn't work. I invariably find that I always type everything with perfect accuracy, but then spooling mistaeks are inserted into them after posting them, by gremlins inside the machine. If we had an interim "preview" or "check" option, the gremlins would simply go to work later.
Are you bored again mate? ;oP I like the idea of Idea number 3 and would also like to see it implemented please Mrs AB Ed. (Oh yes, I know you know) ;o)
I just wanted to note that I also think this is a good idea - except idea 3 which was awful

So... is bread bad for wild ducks or not?
It's bad for 2 out of 12 ducks.
I thought it was only bad for wild ducks on the second of December.
2 out of 12 ducks on the 2nd of December if it's a Tuesday and Rebecca is dancing.
