Hi Everyone,

How do I go about transfering my Appleworks documents from an iMac using OS9 to a word documents on a laptop using Windows XP?

I assume the iMac has USB ports. Use a USB flash drive to transfer them across.
If you mean the physical transfer then do as fo3nix says, or use another media (CD etc).

If you mean what format so Word on XP can read it, do Save As from the File menu and click Word Windows XP in the File Format option, or RTF

Depends on which part of Appleworks your document was created in. If it was in 'draw' then you might have problems. If it is in the word processor, do what cascarelli said - save it as RTF but you might lose some content. I don't think OS9 has the ability to produce pdf documents (I might be wrong) but OSX has. This would have helped.
