hi, the best thing is to visit the website moneysupermarket.com. you'll get 50 quotes starting with the cheapest
Beware of these compare sites however, the price they quote is often wrong when you actually go in to the site selling selling the insurance.

Every company is different and every driver, car, sitaution etc all copare differently with different companies.

However, I have a performance car and found the AA were by far the cheapest, some 800 cheaper than the next rival.

Funny you should say that shadow man i went on money supermarket.com and the aa came out the cheapest at just over 800 (is that cheap?!) i then went onto the aa website and it came up at 1200. reason being the excess was 900! with a 400 excess the premium doubled exactly!
try adrian flux insurance
Im 18 and have a 1.3 ford fiesta LX, i was expecting my insurance to be high but liverpool victoria quoted me 836 with my dad as the main driver so i recommend them!!
alexjohn - is the ford fiesta registered in your name or in your dads name? also who actually uses the car the most? If you have put your dad as the main driver but you are using the car more frequently than your dad then it sounds to me that you have 'fronted' your ins policy which is classed as non-disclosure and could have serious re-percussions if your insurance company find out (usually when there is a claim)...
